I set this app running on my dresser and went to work for a few hours. When I came home the app had successfully recorded which cat was peeing on my bed. Totally worth $3 to find that out.

The motion sensitivity works very well, I think. It only records when something is happening, and it does record sound too. You can also adjust the video quality so that if you have to take hours of recordings at once, you won’t fill up your whole drive. The videos are “finished” and saved frequently so you don’t risk the app crashing and losing everything.
